New Member Intro / Looking at Mesa AZ Multi-Family

Hi everyone,

My name is Angela - I'm a newbie based in SF but looking to invest out-of-state because SF prices are insane :) Grateful for BP for inspiring me to make real estate investing a reality and am excited to get more involved in the community.

I've absorbed a ton of info over these past months in shelter-in-place from BP (books, podcast, articles, forum), Michael Blank's book/podcast re: multi-family, and other sources. I've narrowed in on Mesa, AZ as my focus market, and am interested in pursuing multi-family syndication.

I'd love to network with folks in the Mesa/Greater Phoenix area to get any sage advice on investing in MF/doing syndication deals in the area and to start building out my team (especially interested in starting with a strong property manager!).

I've investigated joining AZREIA since at least at the moment those meetings are virtual - can anyone confirm if these virtual sessions are as fruitful as the original in-person ones? Are there other resources besides BP and AZREIA you would recommend for networking?

Thanks all! Looking forward to connecting with you.

Best,

Angela
