Hey all!

I need a team in Fort Worth, TX.

I live in California and I'm looking to invest in Fort Worth, TX. I'm eager to make a deal in the next 30-45 days, but I'm in the beginning stages of my research on the area. I have family and friends in Fort Worth and San Antonio, so I've decided to bite the bullet after considering a few other cities/states.

I'm looking to brrrr a SFR. My first ever in fact.

Would love to be pointed in the direction of:

  • - Great Property Managers
  • - Other BP investors who are generally helpful and approachable (In the DFW area)
  • - Agents
  • - Wholesalers
  • - Contractors
  • - Any general (or specific) advice on the area

I realize this is a broad ask, but you all seem helpful so I'm throwing it out there.

Thanks a million.

Kayvon

@Kayvon E. (and you too @John Ramirez) thanks for posting! Always great to hear from a fellow Texan. Bigger Pockets does have some good state specific forums and Texas is their most active forum. Feel free to post there if you ever need some more "local" advice about things.

For property managers I would suggest @Kyle Mccaw who is active here on Bigger Pockets and an investor too.  One of the best I know.

For Agents I would recommend @Sherry Patterson who knows investment properties very well.

Wholesalers

Real Estate Groups

Several of these will have similar names but they are different.

DFW REI Club – meet about 50 times per year. Lots of different topics and a very friendly group.

Texas Investors Club – - meets each month and is completely free. Usually free drinks and lots of people to network with.

Impact Grapevine - - Started in Bigger Pockets this group has 3 different locations to choose from. Just straight information and super friendly atmosphere.

Lifestyles Unlimited - https://lifestylesunlimited.com/ - a membership only group but certainly adds lots of value for their members

Let me know if you need anything else.  Thanks!
