Short-term rentals and investors

Hello everyone!

In the past couple years short-term rentals have exponentially grown. These short-term rentals come from platforms like Airbnb, Vrbo, and a number others. Do you think this is a good method for investors to jump in on? I'm curious to hear opinions on the potential of short-term rentals. I'm located in the greater Seattle area where they are a good source for corporate housing!

It's not simply real estate, it's a hospitality business. Unless you plan on partnering with a manager you will be building a hospitality business which includes: communicating with guests, handling resolutions, scheduling turnovers, price optimization, guest experience, and a slew of other things that come with the job. It's a great model if done right, best of luck.
