Newbie Investors in the Pgh area

Hi! I am new to real estate investing and to this site. I just finished listening to The Ultimate Beginner's Podcast and will be going to a seminar tomorrow "Rich Dad Poor Dad". My husband and I have been working with Peter V. coaching us on this process and we are looking also to find local groups/investors who we can share experiences with as well. We live in the Monroeville/Plum area. Any feedback and guidance on where or who to hook up with would be greatly appreciated. I am a real estate agent and my husband has great experience in heating and AC. I look forward to meeting you all on here and some in person.

Welcome to BP! I would highly recommend your local REA group as a place to meet other investors in your area. As for seminars like "Rich Dad Poor Dad" stay away from them. Read the post in the guru forum about them. All the info you need is right here on Biggerpockets.
