19 Getting Into Real Estate

Caden Awad
Posted

Hello everyone, my name is Caden and I am 19 years old. I have decided that I do not want to go to college and I want to create my own path. I want to do something along the lines of starting a business. What interests me the most is investing in real estate. I just finished reading my first book, “How to Flip Your First House” by Jeff Leighton. I have a lot of learning and experience to gain, but I wanted to get some thoughts on my plans. I do not have a salary job, and I am sitting on a small amount of savings (a little less than $10,000). I want to start off with finding the right mentor for me. Does anyone have any advice? I know people will say it’s a risky decision to get into real estate without a steady flow of income, but I’m determined and I found something that interests me. Thanks!
