Hello! I am a new member. I own a two-family brownstone row house in the Prospect Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY that serves as my primary residence. Now, I want to buy a small, multi-unit investment property somewhere in the New York City area. My goal is to build a small portfolio of rental properties that will generate enough cash flow to allow me to exchange my current 60+ hour per week job for one with lower pay but fewer hours. I love real estate, and I also want to spend more time with my two small kids and husband.

I would love to meet buy-and-hold investors in the Brooklyn, Queens, Jersey City or other local areas with insights to share. Thanks!
