Hello.  I am new to this site.  I was referred by a friend.  I owed 4 rental properties and after getting a divorce 2 of the properties were sold, my ex got one and now there is one left which was finally just paid off in April so the rental income is awesome and no loans.  My question is that my ex got one of the properties as I stated however, he has not refinanced and removed my name and now he has filed for bankruptcy which means that he can't refinance the property.  Does anyone know what my rights are and what I can do to get him to remove my name from the loan?  I have already signed a quit claim deed.  I would really appreciate any comments or feedback.  Thanks a bunch and I look forward to meeting others on this site and share experiences.   LKC
