Hi All. Fairly new to RE. Retired for 7 years, and have been working P/T for an events company which i enjoy. I flipped a house in 2017, and w/ all the work and hassles, decided it wasn't for me. Loaned a contractor money to buy a flip in 2018, and that was for me, but unfortunately the relationship didn't last. 6 months ago, i invested in a private placement, that sort of went sour w/ the pandemic. Not all lost, but my money is now tied up for possibly 7 years @ 4%. I'm in the process of forming a new LLC to flip houses in the southeast through a company where i basically just supply the money. Aside from making some money, it will allow me to shelter that same money over to an IRA, and over the next 3-5 years, rollover those IRA funds into Roth accounts. Also looking to invest in note funds and commercial real estate funds. Have some financial IRA questions, but not sure BP is the place to post them. Thanks all.
