Updated almost 12 years ago,
Greetings from newer investor in the Greater Hartford CT area
Hi, I am not really good at these things but let's give it a go....
My nme is Dale Masslon, I have worked in the aerospace world for a long time, mostly in managemnt or development areas ofthe busienss. Last May I got laid off for the third time in my career. As tey say third times as charm, or three strikes and you are out. either way, I decided to geto u of manufacturing in general and aeroospace in particular. Connecticurt is not friendly to manufacturing, businesses, oor their hardworking taxpaying citizens in general.
After carefully considering my goals andd reams for the next few ears, and investigating a lot f potential opportunites, I decided to sopend my resources and time on Real Estate investing, and turn up the heat, to enable myself and my wife to move to warmer cclimates of the country inwithin 2 years. I am one of those peopler who plan on workiung the rest of my life doing something, so I mightt as well do somthing that Iwill enjoy.
I was born in Pa, moved to CT and was raised here, and have been sort of stuck for the past 20 years or so. Now I am going about what I want which is to be independant i the workk world, move to the Carolinia and enjoy as much as life as I can. I am tired of working to make other people rich.
My goal in Real Estae are relatively simple. Earn enough money to not worry about where my next tank of gas, or meal will come from. Have enough to pay my biulls, put a little toards paying it forward, and some towqards having a good time, seeing the country while fishing, sailing, and other sport activities.
I found Bigger Pockets in January while looking for guidance on something and was impressed. Joined the community, have read forum but until today have not actually logged i or sent this messe.
So to all who managed to read this far, Hello, and thanks for letting me in, I look forward to learning more and helping others.
