New to Real Estate and new to Frederick market

Hi guys,

I am new to real estate investing and to Bigger pockets . I am currently looking to get some contacts in Frederick, MD. I hear the market is good there for buy and hold. What does everyone thing about it. Also what are the thoughts on multifamily properties in this area (maybe duplexes, triplexes).

Are there any REIA groups for Frederick? I am interested in the buy, renovate and hold strategy so I would love to network with some wholesalers.
