Milwaukee new guy alert
I am awe-struck watching the forums and seeing how friendly everyone is. Also, the podcasts ROCK, Josh and Brandon!
I live near Milwaukee and have wanted to get started with some buy-and-hold properties for several years. Moving around in the Army wasn't conducive and although I am out of the Army now, I am still not permanently settled in here in Milwaukee. Not sure if I am doing the right thing waiting, or I am just having cold feet.
I would like to build a small portfolio in St. Louis, MO where I used to live and visit frequently (in-laws) for retirement wealth-building. I may end up moving there in the next year or two, but am I jumping the gun looking to buy a property while still living in WI? I would like to manage my first couple properties myself, but this long distance would require a PM for sure.
Appreciate your thoughts and look forward to some day being able to offer some of my own.
Sean
