Rent out primary home for a year and then move back

Hi, new to this forum and was trying to search for existing threads on this topic, but seemed like searching for a needle in a haystack. If anyone can point me to other threads or resources, I would also appreciate it!

Situation:

My wife and I have decided we would like to take our family and try living in another state or 2 over the next year.

We live in Omaha, NE and would like to rent out our home for 1 year starting late summer or early fall and move our family to Florida or Nevada for a year.

I can work from home and we have had some practice homeschooling our young kids because of Coronavirus anyway, so we thought it would be as good of a time as any to live a little and give this a try.

We would most likely want to move back into our home in Omaha after a year. I was looking for any advice or tips on how we should go about this planning process?

thanks!
