Home equity for remodel

Ridge Gonsoulin
Posted

My wife and I are currently looking to remodel our house. We own it outright, it’s worth about 280,000. We are looking to do about 100,000 in renovations (because it really needs it.) Was wondering if a home equity loan would be our best option? Also would it be smart to refinance the home equity loan once the remodeling is complete and how would I go about doing that. Thank you!
