Newbie Investor from Orange County, California

Hello everyone! My name is Naser. 

I am an international school teacher. I have been teaching in China for the last two years. Decent pay and low costs has allowed me to pay off my debts, and increase my savings and investments during this time. I have mostly invested in stocks thus far, but would like to purchase my first rental property in the next year or two. 

At the moment, I hope to develop my base knowledge and finances to prepare for an investment in the near future. I am currently back home in Orange County, California; teaching online due to COVID. But I will hopefully be moving abroad again soon for a new teaching position. My parents are also in OC and interested in real estate. I helped them enter the stock market and would love to support their success in the real estate market as well.
