New Member from Des Moines

Hello BP Community!

My name is Dionne Siyavora and I live in Des Moines, Iowa. I’m new to the real estate investing world but have always been interested in learning more about it. I currently work as an Occupational Therapist in a hospital setting and my hours have been affected by Covid-19 so I figured this would be a great time to learn more about real estate investing. My husband and I plan to start our investment journey with house hacking, I’ve been looking at mainly duplex and triplex options in our area. Our long term plan is buy and hold real estate investing. We hope to purchase our first multifamily property end of 2020. I’m also currently working on becoming a licensed real estate agent by October 2020; I’m hoping this will help me network with local investors and learn more about the market and specific neighborhoods we want to invest in.
