New Member from Baton Rouge

Good afternoon, BP community!

Long time lurker here, but finally took the step to create an account and very excited to be on here. Born and raised in Baton Rouge, I am 24 years old and graduated in Civil Engineering with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from LSU (Geaux Tigers), and now currently working as a Bridge Engineer. I’ve grown very interested in buy and hold real estate investing and other financial tips to earn passive income and build wealth slowly over time. As I discovered Bigger Pockets about 6 months ago, I have studied forums and blogs, analyzed deals almost daily and listened to podcasts, especially ones with buy and hold investors or younger investors on their respective journeys.

I have learned so much already from the awesome advice and experience given by others on here and I’m eager to learn to much more. Just figured I’d sent out a quick introduction, but looking forward to connecting with those both in the BR area and on this network.

Obviously in-person meetings are on hold for now, but you can get on the e-mail list at meetup.com to be notified when they start meetings back up. Good luck!
