Buy and Hold investing in Bristol, PA

Colin Roberts
Posted

Hi, my name is Colin Roberts and I am a new investor from Levittown Pa. I currently have one single family home rented out and I am looking for my next investment. I am aiming to buy my next property closer to home and was interested in looking in Bristol. I'm just looking for any information anyone may have on that area or other areas close that are worth looking into for a buy and hold investor. The area seems it may be on the cheaper side of the close surrounding areas while at the same time holding the potential of having good cash flow. I don't have much knowledge when it comes to Bristol but I am willing to learn and would appreciate any information anyone may have. Thank you

@Colin Roberts I am from the Pittsburgh market but real estate investing is no different in any market. I dont know your specific market at all but here are a few tips. 1. Get to know the market inside and out. Ask agents, investors, vendors etc..This will take more than a few weeks. It wont happen overnight. 2. Run the numbers. Bigger Pockets has podcasts on the topic. Its hard to go wrong when you know the market and you run the CORRECT numbers. 3. Be patient. The deals are not going to be there all the time. It takes time to find the right property.
