Investing in rental property now?

Steven Nicholas
Posted

I am a US native, live in the Netherlands, and about to purchase my first rental "B or C" property in Baltimore MD. Advice on LLC, umbrellas, and taxes is appreciated. I'm most likely going to set up an LLC for each property, but can I keep the money tied into the Holding company to use as $'s in the US? My goal is to only pay taxes in the US without bringing the dollars back to the EU.

First Property: $40k - 70K row house (cash purchase only).
