My interest are flipping houses, foreclosures, short sales, etc.
I just joined the BiggerPockets community and am very excited to connect with fellow entrepreneurs and real estate experts. I am a landscaper by trade and have been around construction a good part of my life. I bought my first house when I was 30 and I enjoyed bringing it back to life and flipping it 1 year later. I made a profit of 20k and I believe 2 years later the buyer turned around and made 20k. I enjoyed the process and have always enjoyed creative design and making things look better than they were before. I also worked for an asset management company where myself and the crew would go through foreclosures and repair them and get them up to HUD approval. My friends that have seen my work would like to invest on a property or two with me but I really lack all the knowledge I need or know exactly where to start. I definitely want to make my first deal count and not have a friend's money tied up in an investment. I've done a little research on hard money and was wondering if this was a good direction to take? Thank you for reading my intro and I hope I can be of an asset to others here as well.
