Finally diving into the forums!

Hi all,

My name is Jordan Spaeth. I am 23 years old and I currently live in Moorhead MN. I graduated from college last May and am a full time elementary teacher (2nd grade). I am also a full time graduate student with hopes of becoming a school administrator in the near future.

Finance has always been an interest of mine. This is the main reason why I am interested in school administration - a passion for helping kids coupled with a passion for finance. However, a couple of years ago while in college, I knew that if I wanted to find wealth for myself and my family, I would need to do more. After doing some research, I quickly found that real estate would probably be the best way for me to do that. Soon after, I found BP and a number of other resources. As with most, the first book I picked up was Rich Dad Poor Dad and I was instantly convinced. Ever since, I have been doing whatever I can to learn about REI as well as about my local market.

Just recently I have decided that the one area of learning that I have been severely overlooking is networking and learning from others. Therefore, I have made a commitment to put a halt to simply lurking, and begin contributing to these forums. I am extremely excited to begin my journey and learn from/with all of you.
