My name is Stephen; and learning about Real Estate as much as I can. I always knew Real Estate is a great avenue to create independent wealth and net worth so I am finally doing something about it. I do have a few questions and hopefully wise experts will point me in the right direction!

Last week I decided to study for my real estate agent exam to get a better understanding of this business. I don't plan to be a real estate agent full time; but I read a recent article about the benefits of having your own license (in Georgia) and so far, have learned a lot with my online study program.

My goal is obtain the license and start purchasing properties for rent. My thought is that if I have a license then I don't have to pay commission.
But realize I need a broker/agency to sponsor me for access to MLS and HUD. How do I find an agency/broker who understands my goal? What is the best way to maximize the benefits of being a real estate minded investor with a license?

Thanks everyone!
