Hello BP community,
I’d like to introduce myself as I’m just venturing into the BP forums. My wife Victoria and I live in St. Louis, Missouri and recently jumped into real estate investing. We purchased our first multi-family buy and hold rental in December of last year, finished up some rehab on it, and have it fully rented out and cash flowing. A great feeling after months of reading books, listening to the BP podcast, going through the purchase process, fixing it up, and showing it to potential tenants!
Victoria and I are eager to continue on our real estate investing journey and are looking to purchase a duplex or triplex sometime this year to move into and house hack. We are currently still renting our college apartment :O.
We’re also excited to get more involved with BP community. This whole journey started with Brandon Turner’s book on rental property investing. It was a gold mine and easy-to-follow road map to learning about rental property investing and purchasing our first property. Shout out and some serious recognition to @Brandon Turner for a great book and supporting others in their journeys in real estate and toward financial freedom. We’ve also been listening to the podcast for a while. That said, we’re jumping into the forums and looking forward to connecting with this community further:
- 1. We are new to the community and investing, but are happy to support others in any way we can.
- 2. If you’d like to connect (maybe virtually until the situation with COVID-19 calms down), let me know. Always excited to meet other investors and continue to learn.
- 3. If you have any recommended reading, let me know. I’m currently in the middle of Frank Gallinelli’s What Every Real Estate Investor Needs to Know About Cash Flow and 36 Other Key Financial Measures.
All the best on your real estate journey,
Andrew
