Don't know where to start

I've been away from bigger pockets and actually from several other things due to personal reasons but I am back and I am determined. I really want to invest in real estate this year. I'm tired of just waiting for the "right time" , "right moment", etc. How much money do I really need to start? How can I find someone who is willing to guide me without trying to take all my money? Where can I find good deals? I have an idea of the kind of properties I would like to buy but at the end of the day I guess I am somewhat scared to take a leap and fail. HELP!! I appreciate any feedback.

There are many ways to get started if you do not have money. Find a deal and then get a partner. The only way your are going to get started is to try something. Get active in the forums and network.
