Howdy from Austin!

Howdy, BP!

I've been silently stalking the forums for a while, but finally decided to join in the fun!

I'm a Midwestern gal, but have been living in Austin for the past 4 years. I love everything this city has to offer!

I'm a real estate investment knowledge junkie! My husband and I currently own one duplex and a sfh, and I have flipped (rehabbed) a couple of houses in the past. The last couple of years have been busy with getting married followed by having a baby, but we're hoping to expand our portfolio this year. We'd like to purchase one or two more multi-family units or a small apartment complex (this year.) My father is a rehabber and custom home builder so I've grown up with property investment.

During the day I work a corporate job in Operations, which helps fund my real estate habit. I also have my real estate license and love working with investors, home builders, and rehabbers.

I'd love to get connected with other investors in Texas. There are some out-of-the-box investing ideas that I've been toying with and would love to get some feedback on. I'm not ready to make them public, but if you're an Austin area rehabber and are interested in an out-of-the-box approach, email me or send me a message! (Sorry, I promise I'm not trying to sell anything here! I honestly have been thinking of a new approach that I'd love to get feedback on without projecting it to the masses!)

Sorry for the lengthy post! I promise I won't always be so verbose!

Aubrey
