Hello Biggerpockets.

A brief story on how I joined. A week ago I was roped into an "interview" (sales pitch, really) by Renatus. Everything about it seemed eerily reminiscent of the time I was a dumb college student who was sweet-talked into trying to sell knives. At least the enthusiastic Renatus person was honest about the whole thing cosing 15 G's.

After a brief Google search, I ended up on biggerpockets. One of the members claimed you can learn everything Renatus teaches for free or for cheap. I want to put that claim to the test.

About me. My godfather has been trying to get me to invest in real estate for the longest time. At the same time, I'm looking for a career change. The problem with investing is that you need money to make money, and though I have enough right now to support me for months should I lose my job, eventually that money will dry up and I'll be living on the streets.

What could I do to make a successful transition to real estate?
