New investor at Los Angeles looking for long/short-term rental

Hi everyone! I started to dig into the real estate investment since about 6 month ago. I have been looking into areas including great LA area (multifamily), Omaha (single family) and a little bit in short-term rental at Mammoth lakes. Have submitted multiple offers in the pass few month but have not get my first rental property yet :\ would like to network with everyone who's also in these areas. Still trying to figure a system for long-distance investment since most of the stuffs in LA is just too expensive and make too less return (or because i have not find good deal yet). Would love to connect with investors and learn/share from each other. Thanks!
