Hello from San Angelo, TX

Hey everyone, wanted to introduce myself. Born and raised on a cattle ranch outside of San Angelo. Traveled all over and am now back with my wife and two little boys. I have been doing SFU deals with my dad and uncle here in west Texas, but I am expanding into multi family.

I will be doing mass direct mail marketing in Bexar, Travis, Tarrant and Dallas counties for 1960-1990 construction garden apartments. So I will be staying on the multi family boards primarily.

My main reason for joining BP is to learn how to build syndications for large complexes. If ANYONE has experience doing so here in the state, I will gladly drive to take you to lunch to learn and introduce myself. I will be sending out close to 2,000 mail pieces a month, and talking to lots of owners. If anyone is interested I will be more than happy to help you find deals as well. Or even finding SFU deals in your market. Looking very much forward to learning as much as possible and sharing whatever I can, here at BP.

Hey Trevor Probandt

I'm not too hard to find. Send me some mail at the address in my signature and we'll set something up. Joel Block has a bi-annual symposium you may consider attending and others like Gene Trowbridge also give multi-day courses on this. If you search BP there are many threads on syndication and we used to have a group dedicated for this purpose.

You won't ever learn everything you need to know about syndication. Securities law is complicated and raising funds is an art that takes a lifetime of practice. The most important thing is to develop a track record to attract investors and to learn to convince them you'll be a good steward for their money.
