New to property inversting

Hello I am trying to find like minded people that are starting off in property investing, really anything that has to do with real estate. I have so many questions to ask people that are where I am or further in the game then I am. Like what where your first steps that you did that made you realize there is no turning back? What are some tips to offer to get into finding people to help each other out in the real estate world? How did you get set up with your first investment? Was through a bank? Private loaner? Would love to find people around my area Denver, CO that would love to get some coffee or lunch and talk about real estate and more.
