new at BP and looking to network/meetups

hello everyone I'm new to this wonderful website and to the exiting world of Real Estate. My mission right now is to meet investors, land lords, realtors etc.. I am very eager to learn more. I've always hade a big interest in Real Estate but didn't have the drive to do it. I gotta be honest and say that thanks to this website and the podcasts that I listen to it finally made me completely open my eyes, my mind and gave me so much fuel and drive to finally start. My mission right now is to start networking around my area but I'm a little lost and don't know where to look and how to look for people that I can meet. My goal is to educate myself as much as I can so when I'm ready I can start my journey as an investor and buy my first property. If there is anybody around my area that knows of any investors group or meet ups please let me know. I am willing to drive if its not in my area. I am from Salinas CA 93905.
