Hello everyone....I have been a long time reader for years, but haven't taken the time to introduce myself. I'm Active Duty Army and currently stationed at Fort Campbell, KY (heading to Monterey, CA next for 18 Months). I have one property in AK that I "thought" was a good investment, but the market has struggled with the low price of crude. I'm currently doing a live-in flip for my current residence and bought a duplex this summer outside of Huntsville AL. Long-term, my focus will be the greater Huntsville area (wife eventually wants to settle in Northern AL), so I have enjoyed both books by David Greene, Long-Distance Real Estate Investment, and the BRRRR method. I didn't think I would pull so much new information from each book. I'm very impressed by the wonderful value of both books! It is my goal to own a minimum of 10 paid for properties/doors within the next ten years.

Currently, my biggest struggle is second-guessing everything. I don't want to make the wrong call on a property, since AK hasn't gone so well. I can't wait to continue this great journey with such a wonderful group on BiggerPockets.

PS: How would you handle a real estate attorney that hasn't filed the deed for over a month after closing and doesn't provide any solid reason as to why?
