Investing in property when you have $100,000 in student loans?

I have roughly about 100,000 dollars in student loans and I want to invest in property. I know they say that student loan debt is one of the worst debt to have. Is it smart to still invest when I have that much in loans? I want to pay them back as soon as possible and investing seems like the best way. Let me know what you guys think!
