Rental Insurance Advice
Anybody have any advice on insurance options for rental properties. I just purchased two side by side single family homes and now am attempting to figure out what kind of insurance coverage I need. I assume everyone else on here requires renters to carry renters insurance? What should I look out for in my landlord insurance policy? What price range should I be looking for 1750 sq ft and 1500 sq ft? Any favorite companies out there? What should I avoid? What is usually unnecessary in a policy. ie. vandalism, burglary, rental property under construction, building code coverage. The houses are in a safe neighborhood.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Mike
