Hello All...

My name is Dan Crowe.  I have been a business owner for roughly 15 years covering a large portion of IL.  We install geothermal loops and install underground utilities (mainly via horizontal boring equipment).  I have been interested in Real Estate since reading Rich Dad Poor Dad in roughly 2000.  Went down a different path with starting our current business, but now want to revisit. Probably worth nothing, I have an accounting and economics Major / Minor so I am definitely enjoy the numbers.  I have been listening to the Bigger Pockets Podcast and though it was time I jump in here.

In terms of goals, I am am looking to create another revenue stream for our business and an assets that appreciate over time.  I am trying to figure out what the best next step is.  I have been looking at different options but am having a hard time making the deals pencil out to a return worth pursuing (if I ignore potential appreciation).

Well hoping to get to know some of you and finding out is the real estate path makes sense with our situation.

Dan
