Foreign Investor geting started in the USA rental market

Hi all!

I´m entering the real estate market in USA. I currently live in Mazatlan, Mexico but will be moving to San Diego this summer.

I´ve been a real estate developer in Mexico for the past 20 years but things in my country are not very promising so I decided to turn my sight to USA to invest in real estate. My plan is to start by buying and holding single family properties and then move to multifamily.

I hace some cash to get started and and even though I´m going to be living in California, decided to make my first investment in Orlando, Fl.

This because the market conditions in Califoirnia are tougher (prices, low returns) and manly because I have friends that already invested in Florida with very good results.

Looking forward to connecting with as much people as I can and hoply get some network through biggerpockets.

Best, Carlos
