Hey Everyone,

It's great to join this very active community! I am looking to get started in real estate investing with a focus in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area. I am currently hopping back and forth between Vancouver, BC and the Twin Cities but wanting to get a start on my home turf. With capital at the ready and lots to learn, I am ready to dive in headfirst. Aiming to start small while I learn the ropes and mitigate risk along the way.

Any advice on how to get started (meet-up recommendations, reading suggestions, etc) is always welcome and desired. I'm also hoping to build some strong connections here with experienced folks investing in the area.

- Sean

@Sean King. Learn as much as you can fron BP and others at meetups. Then get a good team together. I would start with @Tim Swierczek for your loan needs. Minneapolis is a great place to invest and has historically done well during recession.
