Noob! (ish) -North Georgia

Greetings all! I am a sort of new investor in North Georgia, Forsyth County, specifically. I say new-ish because I grew up working on my father’s rental properties and flips back in the 70s and 80s. I even sold real estate for one horrible, dreadful, awful, year back in ’88. My wife and I have one rental house with an apartment in the back that’s had tenants for a few years.
I did a stint in the business world and then got into education at 30. I’ve been a teacher since ’94 and will be retiring in a few years.

We want to acquire several more rental properties in the next few years. The goal is to supplement retirement income, have fun, and leave our kids something besides an unpaid Discover bill.
