Hello! I recently moved from Puerto Rico to Dallas and now I’m starting my real estate investing business here and I’m looking to gain some experience by working with a mentor with experience in either wholesaling or with buy and hold for multi family properties.

I have a full-time job that has flexible hours so I can take the role of an assistant for whoever has many things to do but not the time to do it. I don’t have much money to offer but I do have time and can help cleaning properties for renovation and things of that matter.

I'm starting to go to REI meetups in my area to build relationships but anything that this community can suggest for finding a mentor I would greatly appreciate it.

@Lucia Rushton Yes, for now just SFH. After I understand the SFHs well I'll be looking to move towards multi-family residential next and after that into multi-family commercial. I would definitely have a property manager

I'm currently in the phase of training myself to analyze homes/deals to understand the market and narrowing down my criteria and I'm definitely enjoying that process :).
