Newbie in Memphis Tennessee

I grew up in construction and am no stranger to real estate and house flipping, in fact one of my goals from an early age has been to flip  a house. As I have grown, I've discovered there are endless possibilities to real estate investing, both financially and socioeconomically. I live in Memphis, Tennessee which has become a hot market for investors. With almost $15 billion, and almost $5 billion planned, in revitalization projects over the past four years investors are seeking to draw luxury brands to Memphis. Abandoned properties are being re-purposed and people are the American model for home ownership. The need for sustainable, affordable housing will increase is on the rise. In effect, Memphis is encouraging collaboration and vibrant, inclusive communities.

My goal is simple: make a difference in my community by changing the perspective on renting and home ownership. I am passionate about my community and sustainable economic growth. With standard economic theories being challenged and innovative communities like the self sustaining Crosstown Concourse being developed, I can't help but wonder how we can make affordable living even more practical and effective. When communities have reliable real estate, their ability to thrive and innovate greatly increases.

Now it is time for me to act on my passion! I desire to network and learn as much about real estate in America to reach my goals and support others in living their best lives. From job creation to simply providing families a place to stay, real estate investing has a direct impact on the immediate community. I look forward to the opportunities Memphis and surrounding markets have to offer during these next steps.
