Hi BP community.

I am brand new to real estate investing although I do own a home.

Over the past few months I have dove in head first into the bigger pockets podcasts, Robert Kiyosaki’s books, and many others in order to learn about the business.

I would like to meet BP members in my area if anyone knows about meetings that take place.

I plan on purchasing a second home this year as an investment property. Currently I don’t have much cash laying around to use in a deal (around 10k), but I can refinance my house and pull out some cash, what do you recommend in this position?

I’m not sure just yet in which direction of real estate investing I would like to go eventually , but I don’t think that will happen naturally.

If you have any input/critique/advice of any kind, I would love to hear what you have to say.

Thanks in advance

Welcome to BiggerPockets! Truly nice to meet you. Good luck going forward! Hope the best for you going forward in 2020!!

Congratulation on preparing to jump in the pool. For networking I would suggest going to BP events and seeing what is local. You can also setup an alert to filter on your desired town and state.

As for starting you have several options. You could partner or maybe find an owner finance. Keep from pulling your money on your house. You could do the rehab with 0% credit cards maybe. I did that on my first rehab.
