Newbie from Denver Colorado

Alex Jimenez

Hello BP community!

My name is Alejandro Jimenez aka Alex. I am originally from Miami,Florida but as of 3 years ago live in Denver,Colorado. I have been growing my knowledge in RE investing through books, podcasts, webinars, and now BP which recently found. I recently started to work as a truck driver for Fedex making 70k/year. I plan to keep my job while i invest until i can create enough passive income to cover my expenses. Then i would really love to start investing full time.

To start, the goal is to buy a Multi Family Home and live in one of the units and rent out the rest. This way i can reduce my expenses and continue saving for my next rental property. Im currently saving for my first rental property and i should have around $30k to put as down payment by the end of 2020. Is this a realistic number to start investing in Colorado?

In the long run, the goal is to own enough rental property with cashflow to be financially free and travel the world.

Thank you for reading and i really look forward to hearing from you guys!
