My name is John Gerst and I live in San Antonio with my wife and two daughters. I recently retired from military service after 30 years and am looking forward to the next chapter. When I started in the military back in 1990, I was a carpenter/mason and have enjoyed home repair/rehab ever since. All of my experience with real estate to date has been through my own residences (6 different purchases across 4 states) but always able to sell at a profit and just rolled it into the next house. Now that I am retired and happy to stay put in San Antonio, I am ready to take the next step into flipping and/or BRRR for passive income. I am very fortunate that my service time has allowed me to become financially independent and able to invest in this new en-devour. Determining my next step is my current indecision and decided to leverage the BP community for connections and opportunities to learn in the San Antonio area. Looking forward to this new chapter and thanks for your time!
