New Investor From Bergen County NJ, Looking to Relocate to Tampa

Been a member on here for a while and figured it was time to introduce myself!

My name is Justin Lipsky, currently live in Bergen County NJ (right near Paramus). I am a General Contractor and have a construction company based out of here. Have been reading posts on here long before I was a member and have been a member since 2017.

With NJ/NY having high property values/taxes as well as unfavorable landlord laws I am looking to relocate to Clearwater Florida later this year to live and will be investing in the Tampa area.

I am fairly young (23) but have been able to save up quite a bit from my businesses and side hustles. Currently have a property I am trying to get under contract close to downtown Tampa. Planning to do real estate full time but will probably still end up doing some construction side work for the first year or so. Mainly will be focusing on the BRRRR model as I fell it suits me well with my construction background and have a knack for flipping/value add based off of my other business experience.

I am on here for general knowledge as well as to connect with like minded people. Goal is to buy 3-5 properties this year all duplexes or larger.
