Hello Bigger Pockets!  First time poster been lurking for a few weeks now.

My name is Charles.  I was amazed to find Bigger Pockets and immediately knew I wanted to be a part of the community.  I don't have any professional Real Estate background per se, but I have dabbled a little.  I got my desire for real estate after reading rich dad poor dad in 2004.  I have recently read a few more books including many published by Bigger Pockets. I have also gone to real estate school but never went for the license.  I am considering getting it now.

I flipped my first property in 2004 and it was kind of a break even experience.  The market collapsed soon after. Combine that with the four hurricanes that slammed central Florida and I wasn't sophisticated enough to know what to do next. So I looked for a JOB.  2004 was a different world.  This was before the smartphone and the tons of information that's available today.

However, I am about to finish my MBA from USF and after looking at my student loans, I decided I would take another look at real estate.  Happy to be here.

See you around the forums

Charles
