Hello BP,

My name is Zach and I was recently introduced to REI. My mom has never met her real father but has been looking for him her whole life, eventually she was able to relay a message to one of his ex wife's and asked her to pass the message along. Shortly after she received a call from her father and the first thing he said was "Lynette, it's your Daddy" my mom broke out in tears. Any ways he is now 81 years old and has been retired since his early 50s. Apparently he is very wealthy and has accomplished this from real estate investing. Hearing this sparked something inside me.

A little about myself: I am 22 years old and currently work as a retail sales consultant and one of the major cellular providers, I have always had a passion for selling and as soon as I turned 18 I applied where I currently work today. I also have a passion for cars, trucks, and motorcycles. My father bought me my first car when I was 16 and in less than a year I was able to flip it and get a better car. 20+ vehicles and 4 motorcycles later and I ended up with a Kia that gets amazing gas mileage and some cash that has been in the bank. I have been saving this money but I was not sure for what. December of 2011 I bought my first home in Henderson Colorado with my girlfriend.

After speaking to my grandfather I now know exactly what I plan to do with my career. I plan to start out with flipping home or wholesaling to start part time and once I get a grip on it I plan to do this full time! So far I have been on all of the flipping homes forums and reading all of the information I can get my hands on. I also obtained a copy of the book FLIP, read it in three days, and now have a basic idea of how to master the art of flipping homes. I plan to do this with a partner who has great construction knowledge and is a very business intelligent person who I believe will be great to team up with and learn the processes. We are still in the research stage but would like to learn everything we can so if anyone has any books that I should get, or any more info that would be great!
