Not NEW new, but new here
Hi all,
I've been involved in real estate for the past two years. Originally from PA, and have a partnership LLC in PA (not Philly or Pittsburgh) right now with MFH.
I'm currently living abroad but was most recently living in Boston, MA for work. Bought my primary residence there, a loft in an up and coming neighborhood, and managed to rent it out.
Next for me: Growing the partnership LLC to a level where the entity can generate 15K net income for each partner in the next 5 years.
Also, really want to diversify my portfolio and explore opportunities in less tax burdensome, growing places, with strong economies. I am particularly interested in TN, GA, NC, and TX. I have spent time in each of these states but do not have a local connection, so will be going it alone. Would like to start up in 6 months' time, but understand that it is a 'local' business and living abroad will have some challenges - doing market research right now to determine if Turnkey is the only way to go, or if there are other possibilities, like finding a solid place myself and then meeting a reputable property manager, and also asking some of my contacts who have lived in or are originally from these areas.
I have lurked here for some time, but as RE begins to occupy more of my time, feel like I need to start contributing more to the community that has been so informative.
