Those of us concerned about the future of STRs in Phoenix, Scottsdale etc., need to know what's happening, so I'm sharing here:

The next Joint Ad Hoc Committee on the Impact of Short Term Rentals meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 3rd at 5:00 p.m. The topic of the second meeting will be the clustering or abundance of short term rentals in Arizona communities and the impacts they have on quality of life, housing availability, housing affordability, and filling important employment roles in our cities and towns. Subject: Short Term Rental Proliferation in Arizona Communities & the Impacts When: Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 5 p.m. Where: Senate Hearing Room 1, 1700 W. Washington Street, Phoenix, AZ 85007 Citizens who can provide any information specific to Scottsdale that can be shared at the legislature including anecdotal, photographic, video, or data driven examples are asked to bring those items to the meeting.
