Hey BP community! Jeremy Goldizen here from Cleveland, OH (living 45 minutes west of Cle) 3 years ago just like probably 99% of investors, Rich Dad Poor Dad was given to me by my best friend of 14 years. After reading that, it was game changer for me and how I approached life financially. I always had a business builder and entrepreneur mindset, but really had no concrete vision with it. Currently, I work as an aide for special education at a High School and am also a Strength Coach for the HS athletes. Basically anytime though I have within the day, I devote to real estate education. I began in real estate two years ago when I house hacked a condo within a 12 story complex (roommate paying 70% living expenses). I bought this because leasing was allowed, so plan was to keep buying up the complex. 3 months into that plan, I met my now wife and moved into together :). Now, I have refocused my mindset and have gotten back to original plan of building my portfolio towards financial freedom for the family (we are expecting our first in may!). Only because of concern for my sleep lol my wife yells at me because I am up until 1-2am every night either practicing analyzing deals, reading books (on my 5th book in last two months), listening to the BP podcast or looking for properties. My goal with real estate is to buy and hold SFH, and Mutli 2-4 units and have 10 doors by end of 2020 and scale from there. 5 year goal is to have 100 doors and be buying and holding apartments solely. What got me into BP was my best friend who introduced me to Rich Dad, he is an avid listener of the podcasts and we have plans to partner up in the near future to grow a RE business.
