Newbie from the SF East Bay Area

My name is Joe and I recently discovered this community, books and podcasts.

My spouse and I are looking into diversifying out investment portfolio (which is a challenge in the SF Bay Area), so we're currently looking out of state (mainly St Louis, Memphis, Kansas City are on the shortlist right now).

After having gone through the housing crisis in 2008, we're still a little cautious and funds are limited for the first deal.

I am looking forward to connect!

Joe

@Joe Muck I'd consider adding Oklahoma City to your list. It falls in line with the criteria you're likely working within those markets, but seems to be a bit less saturated! Forbes voted it recession-proof after the last downturn, so it also speaks to your concerns pretty strongly!

Regardless excited for your journey! Good luck!!!
