Hey Everyone,

I'm Justin Harrison and I'm currently an active duty Marine. I just bought my first duplex, in Missouri. My goal is to have 10K in cash flow monthly no later than 5 years after I retire from the Military. I used the VA home loan for this purchase and closed with 3K in equity. It isn't much but it is positive equity so I'm ok with that. I'm house hacking with tenants on one side and I have a roommate. I paid my first mortgage this month and only paid $46 out of my own pocket. I listen to bigger pockets everyday and my future endeavors grow with every episode I learn from. I just started reading The Book on Rental Property Investing by Brandon Turner and have loved every second so far. Any advice would be great and I look forward to learning from everyone here!
