Waited until day two for a formal introduction.

My name is Wade, and I hail from the Gulf Coast, the Eastern Shore of the Mobile Bay to be a little more exact.

History: I started in Real Estate when it became to difficult to make ends meet as a teacher and a pastor. (I'm still a pastor...just not a teacher.) Began in partnership with my father, and we contracted to build about 17 homes over a three year period...meaning we were not the builders, but the investor and the agent. Became licensed about six months into that, and went off on my own (Separate from the family, anyway, still under a broker) after two years. I own two rental homes.

I began working more with other investors because of the GO Zone Act of 2005. Most Realtors out here aren't knowledgeable on the subject, and some think they know a few things that just aren't so. I don't pretend to be an expert--there are CPA's and lawyers for that--but I gained a reputation for knowing something, at least. Pretty soon, I was getting calls from investors all over the country. Thus began the saying: "Sometimes you don't find your niche. Sometimes your niche finds you."

Anyway, that's where I am now--and I'm happy to be here.

Wade
